The King Is Dead, Long Live The King

Such are the words reportedly said when a king would die- immediately acknowledging that a new king, a new reign, would step up and fill the void.  Well, last night, 50% of Americans voted to end the American Experiment.  Something else will rise in its place.  Fully half the country now believes that what you produce is not your own, that the Government as sovereign rights to redistribute the produce of your labor.  From the money you earn as a laborer, to services you provide (if, for instance, you are a doctor), what you make is no longer your own in the United States of America.

This underlying fact must be understood before it can be addressed.  If enough people understand it, there is still time to fix it.  That time is limited, however.

Liberty took a body blow last night.  I'm not going to say that Mitt Romney was our "last, best hope" for Liberty, but I will say the window is closing.

So we must educate.  We must prepare.  And, if all else fails, we must be ready to defend our Liberties.
